Libondo (palm wine) is obtained from palm trees in a state of putrefaction
This is palm wine, recently taken from a palm tree and ready to drink..
It doesn't have a high alcohol content but it makes people very happy. The waposes* (slugs), a most prized food in these latitudes, is obtained from the same putrefied palm tree trunk
